The providers of LC are not, in any way, responsible for the following:
- Any negative impact that may result from anyone providing personal information on this website (such as spam mail, unwanted solicitations or criminal activity)
- The actual coordination and the meeting of individuals for carpooling
- Any condition that arises from the carpool (such as, but not limited to unfit vehicles, people not paying for gas if that was the arrangement, people not showing up on time, accidents due to vehicle negligence, etc)
Rules of Conduct
The following rules are really about respecting everyone using this service. As a registered user, your IP address will be recorded with every message that you send. This will be kept in utmost confidence, but will be used to track users who violate the following three rules. In the case of criminal activities, the IP addresses of the offenders will be released to legal authorities if requested.
- Offensive language and slanderous comments are not tolerated. Any such dialogue will be removed. Repeat offenses will result in a ban from this website.
- Threats of any kind will not be tolerated. Such actions will be taken seriously, the authorities will be notified and a ban will result.
- Taking advantage of subscribers for criminal activities is not acceptable in any form. Such actions will be taken seriously, the authorities will be notified and a ban will result.
