Suppose there are two subscribers to Lanark Commuters. The first person has the username "PerthDriver" and has advertised that she commutes to Almonte and is looking for someone to share the ride. The second person is "CPrider" who is looking for a ride from Carleton Place to Almonte and is curious if PerthDriver is willing to pick him up in Carleton Place.

Step 1: CPrider clicks on PerthDriver's name (beside her commuting information) and is taken to a page which allows him to compose a message. Note that he should not at this point reveal any personal information other than that he is interested in sharing the ride.

Step 2: After CPrider submits the message, Lanark Commuters sends an email to PerthDriver which contains CPrider's message. Along with that message is a link back to Lanark Commuters.

Step 3: When PerthDriver clicks that link in the email, she will be taken to a message page inside of Lanark Commuters (similar to the one described in Step 1) where she can respond to CPrider's message.

Step n: This can go on indefinitely until both commit and decide to share contact information.
